REFRAME REWIRE RESET

You’re not failing to control alcohol.

You’re stuck in a pattern your brain has learned to repeat automatically.

You’ve tried to stop.
You’ve tried to cut back.
You’ve promised yourself “this time will be different.”

And yet the same cycle keeps showing up:

  • 4pm decisions you didn’t plan on making

  • weekends or social situations where everything shifts

  • moments where alcohol feels like relief before you even decide

This isn’t a willpower problem.

It’s an automatic pattern problem.

And until that pattern changes…

Nothing else will.

WHY THIS KEEPS HAPPENING

Most people think the issue is drinking.

So they try:

  • willpower

  • rules

  • cutting back

  • motivation

  • accountability

And sometimes it works… temporarily.

But the pattern always returns.

Because nothing underneath has changed.

Your brain is doing exactly what it was trained to do:

  • stress → relief

  • emotion → escape

  • habit loop → alcohol

So even when you want something different…

The automatic system wins.

WHY CAN'T YOU JUST “TRY HARDER”

Willpower is conscious effort.

But most behaviour happens automatically — before you even realise it.

So what usually happens is:

Try → slip → restart → try harder → repeat

And eventually it turns into:

“Why can’t I just stick to it?”

But the truth is:

You’re not broken.

You’re running a pattern that hasn’t been changed yet.

WORKS DIFFERENTLY

Instead of managing behaviour…

We change what creates the behaviour.

This includes:

  • subconscious associations

  • emotional triggers

  • nervous system responses

  • automatic prediction loops

So the urge doesn’t need to be fought as often…

because it stops firing the same way.

WHAT CHANGES

When the pattern shifts:

  • alcohol stops feeling like a mental “pull”

  • 4pm decision cycles disappear

  • social situations feel easier

  • urges lose urgency

  • you stop constantly thinking about it

This isn’t about control.

It’s about freedom from automatic reaction.

💬 Real Transformations

Over 300 people have now been through REFRAME REWIRE RESET since it was founded in February 2025

Will you be the next to join the Sober Movement?

"Nothing else worked for me. I didn’t have to quit straight away which I liked the sound of because I really wanted to quit but I was so sick of using willpower and failing over and over. By week 3, I simply didn’t want to drink anymore, it was like something shifted inside me and I can't look at alcohol the same". James.K

"14 years of drinking every day. I’m 3 months sober as of today and don’t want alcohol at all. My best friend is now going through the program because she can see how happy I am now and wants to be free like me. I never have to have another hangover again." - Bec.S

"Finally a method that isn’t shame-based. After 2 years in AA, I could stay sober but I was miserable, now I feel normal, social, and free. I will never go back to AA again. As Mel says no need to count days when you're not running from something. So I will just say, I am a happy non drinker." Reece.Q

"4 Rehabs and countless attempts to stay sober, over 4 years of daily AA, and I just couldn't understand why I kept going back. I have just hit 6 months sober and can confidently say I will never go back. Also even though this program is a self journey, I must thank Mel as she answered my texts on many Friday nights in my first few weeks. A true gem." Grant.L

"I can't thank Mel enough, from the start she listened to me when I sent probably 20 DMs trying to decide if this would work for me. I had already read all the self help books and listened to so many quit drinking podcasts. I was worried this would be the same. She was so patient and always wrote back. I finally bit the bullet and started. I checked in with her every week, just to stay accountable. Well, it worked. Just hit 7 months sober". Samson.T

"I had no idea I was holding onto trauma in my nervous system, heck I didn't even know what the nervous system was. I have gained so much knowledge into how my brain and body works and now it's so clear why none of my other attempts work. After some initial anxiety, I am now anxiety free and sober for the first time in over 20 years. I wish more people knew about this program, best money I ever spent". Rachel.W

"I was so lost when I came across this program. I had just come out of my 3rd stint in rehab and was barely hanging on. Yes I was sober but everyday was a struggle. I decided to do something before I relapsed. A girlfriend of mine had been in one of the group programs and couldn't speak more highly of Mel. So I booked the whole package after a phone call with Mel and started 1:1 coaching and the online program the next day. I also got to join the group coaching sessions. I am so glad I did. My group was so helpful in stressful moments and I really felt safe and not judged. The 1:1 sessions with Mel really pushed me to go deep and work on all the reasons I kept going back to drinking. This time something is different. I feel so confident and my anxiety is pretty much gone. Thanks Mel." Gay.V

"For the first time in 10 years I felt like I was back in control. I really put the effort into the workbook and journaling and I am so glad I did. I had so many limiting beliefs that were destroying my confidence. Alcohol free living suits me. I have lost weight and I just got a promotion at work after 3 years of trying. Seems I am a lot more focused and switched on. Thanks so much Mel for all your support." Marcus.H

"You'll see my videos all over TikTok tagging Mel. She is a beautiful soul. I reached out to her over a year ago and she was so kind and patient. 3 months later I started and I kept in touch with her every week. My son is now talking to me again and I can still go to the footy and spend time with all my mates that drink. Like Mel says. I just drink something else. I feel so good and am so grateful for this little Aussie woman who kept showing up on my page. Thanks Mel from the bottom of my heart." Ben.G

"I can not speak highly enough of this program, I had tried everything when I came across this method. I joined the online program and the August group coaching cohort. I really just wanted the best chance at finally staying sober longer than a month. I stopped drinking 2 weeks into the program and started the group coaching on my 3rd week. Mel was so kind and supportive. I felt really comfortable in the group and have made some lifelong friends. I am so glad I decided to join. I just hit 6 months sober and can honestly say I will never go back. The desire to drink is gone. I still keep in touch with Mel to keep her updated. She's a genuinely lovely woman and has changed my whole life". Raelene.F

"I had tried everything to get my act together. Rehab twice, AA, therapy. I couldn't last longer than a week. I was honestly skeptical about an online program being able to help me, but I couldn't afford another stint in rehab. To say I am a different person would be an understatement. Not only am I 6 months sober but I feel amazing and life is great. No cravings and no interest in ever going back." Danny.C

"I was spending $200/week on alcohol. My husband actually bought this program for me and we did it together. He wasn't as bad as me, but wanted to be supportive. Now we are both sober, happy, and rebuilding our marriage. I honestly never thought we would be the sober couple. Now we have all that money to spend on holidays together". Lyla & George

FAQ's

Will this work for me if I’ve tried to stop drinking before?

Yes. Many people who go through this program have already tried multiple times to stop drinking, including AA, therapy, and other recovery programs. Some describe themselves as “chronic relapsers” or stuck in long-term cycles. The approach here is different — it focuses on the emotional, behavioural, and nervous system patterns driving drinking rather than willpower alone. The most common feedback is: “This is nothing like anything I’ve tried before — and it actually works.”

Do I need to be sober before starting this program?

No. You do not need to be sober to begin. This program is designed for people who are actively drinking, trying to reduce, or wanting to stop. You learn as you go and apply tools in real time.

What if I relapse while doing the course?

There is no punishment, judgement, or “starting over.” Relapse is often part of breaking long-term patterns. The focus is on awareness, understanding triggers, and building new responses — not perfection.

How much support do I get?

This is a self-led program with structured lessons, recordings and the workbook. You also have access to the website chat for questions and clarification at any time.

Can I contact you directly?

Yes — all course members have access to the website chat for support and questions about the material. This is the main support channel for the self-led program.

Is this therapy or AA?

No. This is a coaching and education-based program using behavioural psychology, emotional regulation tools, and mindset frameworks. It is not a medical or clinical treatment.

What if it doesn’t work for me?

Most people who commit to applying the tools consistently experience significant shifts. However, if you find you need more structure, accountability, or support, the 10-week group program is the next step up.
